On Quotes from Ed's Books

New on 10/29/2011

The first quote I think is cute (I'm partial of course), is from the Order of the White Feather: The Sword of Dalamar. They are burying a member of their traveling party that died unexpectedly:

Farewell to the Dead

“May you see only beauty and light,”
“May you hear only harmonious melodies,”
“May you touch and be touched only by grace and goodness,”

This is from Chapter 5 and the first 5 chapters may be read on my webbsite at EdwardJCoburn.com

The second quote comes from my book Last Killer Standing. It is from Chapter 27:

She nodded and dutifully followed him to the room. He opened the door and ushered her in. Three men were obviously FBI agents and two other guys were, just as obviously, not FBI. FBI agents always reminded her of that movie called “Men in Black.” Not that they always wore black but they always seemed to be prototypical examples of that movie - especially these three, since they were actually dressed in black. Like the movie, Abby thought they were always dealing with aliens. Not outer-space aliens like those depicted in the movie, but criminals whose thoughts were alien to what thoughts other people would normally entertain.
